We are happy to announce the release of two collections with User Generated Audio recordings, one generated from users attending a musical concert, and one from users attending a football match taking place inside a crowded open stadium. Parts of each public event were simultaneously captured with five smartphone devices in the case of the athletic event and with up to nine devices in the case of the concert. The data files are accessible here: https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.164175.
For each type of event, we provide an organized and an unorganized collection. In the accompanying paper at https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.167311 we describe how the recordings were generated in each event and the usefulness of each collection in terms of research related to content-based multimedia indexing and organization (unorganized collection) as well as to research related to automatic mixing, enhancement and reproduction of user generated audio (organized collection).
