The COGNITUS technology for the efficient integration of UGC in broadcasting workflows was presented at the Rencontres Francophones de la Vidéo Mobile 2019 in Paris on 7th February. The masterclass was presented by Rajitha Weerakkody from the BBC with live translation to French.
The talk focussed on the increasing use of UGC in television broadcasts and how COGNITUS technology enables the easy integration of these valuable assets in mainstream productions overcoming the key challenges of low video quality and the discovery of content. The session included a live demo of the system, with content captured at the event on the COGNITUS mobile app been uploaded to the system.
